State Representative Albert Cardoon has announced that he is leaving the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to work in the private sector. According to his publicity agency, Mr. Cardoon has accepted a position at Representix, a firm that provides outsourced legislative services to state governments. Representix has already taken over legislative functions in Delaware and Wyoming, and is currently in talks with Governor Corbett aimed at replacing the General Assembly with a cheaper and more responsive private alternative.
