Giuliani, Carcassi, and Sor? You must’ve had a book of guitar studies lying close by.

  2. Steve T. says:

@Bill Burns, I thought the exact same thing – three of the most widely used classical guitar methods / studies, but probably known by less than 1% of the general population.

  3. Dr. Boli says:

Does that mean Dr. Boli’s readers are the notorious 1%? And where does that leave the readers who got something out of Lang, Kress, and Reinhardt?

Do I HAVE to thaw the pie?

  5. Captain DaFt says:

After pondering the CS problem, I’ve reached an epiphany.
Although CS does plague its afflicted, the rest of us suffer because many CS sufferers are also afflicted with RMS, or Restless Mouth Syndrome, and thus are unable to, if you’ll pardon the slang, STFU!

Even worse, RMS afflicts many suffering from other mental deficits, depriving those around them of needed peace and quiet.

So far the only two ways I’ve discovered to treat RMS sufferers are:
    A. Generous amounts of my absence to their presence.
(A treatment woefully undermined by modern cellphones.)

    B. Immediate application of a Louisville Slugger to the mouth of the RMS afflicted.
(Although this treatment brings immediate relief to all concerned, it has the unusual and unfortunate side effect of possible incarceration to the medicator.)

  6. Bill Burns says:

Well, you can at least find videos of Lang, Kress, and Reinhardt.

  7. Clay Potts says:

    Dear Dr. Boli,

I have on many occasions been forced to vigorously defend against hostile skeptics, my long held belief that at the end of every rainbow is a creel full of trout.

Are you aware of any scientific evidence to refute this?
