    While, objectively, I realize that this could potentially be a good thing and that intelligent reduction of useless bureaucracy can require an initial bureaucratic investment, it certainly does feel like we’ve gone full Department of Administrative Affairs here. Somewhere, Sir Humphrey is smiling.

      You will notice that, to reduce useless bureaucracy, the Act would “require agencies to include a list of outdated or duplicative reporting requirements in annual budget justifications, and for other purposes.” In other words, they would have to compile a report. Naturally the report would have to be accompanied by a Paperwork Reduction Act notice.
