CORRECTION. In his campaign advertisement in Thursday’s Dispatch, State Representative Albert Cardoon’s characterization of his upstart challenger Marcus Flail as an “ignorant weasel” was incorrect. At the time, Rep. Cardoon was laboring under the misapprehension that a weasel was a kind of rodent. He has since been reliably informed that this is not the case. Rep. Cardoon would like to extend his apologies to all the members of the fine upstanding family Mustelidae, and regrets his error in having inadvertently associated them with Mr. Flail.
