The typewriter is a Remington Deluxe Model 5 from 1948.

We are three brethren out of Spain;
We can’t decide on plum or plain,
Or, for that matter, grass or rose.
But maybe you can help—who knows?
The rose is red, the grass is green;
The orange is (oddly) tangerine.
The orange is in a different class,
Admittedly, from rose or grass,
But maybe we should take all five:
The plum, the plain, and, sakes alive,
The rose, the grass, the tangerine,
Or rather orange is what we mean.
We’ll take them all and turn again,
And soon we shall be back in Spain.
