The typewriter is a Smith-Corona Electra 120, from a bygone era when it seemed like good marketing to name typewriters after characters in Sophocles.

An Epitaph.

He had ten fingers and ten toes,
As far as anybody knows.
He had the hands and feet to put them on.
He occupied a certain space,
But sometimes moved from place to place,
And people noticed it when he was gone.
