I can not express in words how thrilled I was to hear of The Great Blando’s return. However, upon hearing of his disappearance, I have been able to piece together a few inconsistencies in his “overshooting Scarlatti” story.

I strongly believe this was a planned disappearance. Yes, a hoax. I believe he is only trying to build demand for his talents after being exposed as a fraud for reading Probst instead of reciting. There is too much evidence of manipulation to believe anything else.
