NURSERY RHYMES FOR CYNICAL CHILDREN.

Pretty pastries, dime a dozen!
Get some for your aunt or cousin;
Make a bag up for the parson;
Give one to the cop on Carson;
Send some to the poor in Chile;
Save a few for old Blind Willie;
Give a couple to the dog;
Throw the rest out to the hog.
Just don’t eat them. Heed advice:
There’s a reason for the price.

    Is that by RJFA FT?

  2. KevinT says:

    Are the pastries made with extract of the Giant Hogweed? Is the nursery rhyme describing a Nursery Cryme?

  3. Occasional Correspondent says:

    Defining “baker’s dozen” as “thirteen of something” is not a complete definition.  A baker’s dozen is twelve of today’s and one of yesterday’s — “dime a dozen” is a variation on the theme “13 for the price of 12”.
