In your article entitled “Borough Council Approves Road Works,” you referred to the material chosen as “hot-mix asphalt concrete.” The material is in fact warm-mix asphalt concrete. We know our works: we are neither cold nor hot.

Countless billions are spent each year on health care, and yet the mortality rate remains at exactly 100 per cent. Can any better proof be offered of the incompetence of our current government? It is time either to sweep out the unfit and unable from our health establishment, or candidly to admit our failure and spend the money we waste in futile attempts to defeat mortality on something more practical, such as post-minimalist sculpture. The money spent on health care in this country every year could easily buy a post-minimalist sculpture, by a sculptor of good reputation, for every family in America, giving them a valuable heirloom to pass on to their children, or a place to hang bric-a-brac, depending on the nature of the art in question. Surely this would be a better use of public funds than this so-called “health care” which ultimately produces no result.
