Installation artist Eli “Bonkers” Johnson needs your kitchen garbage for a new work of installation art entitled “Detritus,” paid for by the Allegheny Endowment for the Arts, to be installed at the city dump beginning immediately. When you have gathered a sufficient quantity of garbage, place it at the curb on your normal garbage-collection day, and a large Art Collection Truck (marked “Department of Environmental Services”) will pick it up and take it to the city dump to be installed. “Bonkers” Johnson would like to take this opportunity to thank the enlightened citizens of Allegheny County for using their sales-tax money to fund challenging and innovative works such as this.
