In Thunderball, James Bond (at a rehab facility) encounters a count who gets lippy with him and, by way of lethal retort, turns the count’s full-body heat treatment box up to the people-cooking setting (after locking it closed). What’s pictured in this advertisement seems similar. Cook the cook! Steam the laundress! That will improve their transigence.
