    It all makes sense now. The Great Blando’s disapperance is no longer a mystery. He is now run off to hide in the tropics of Kansas and live out his remaining years in the shame he deserves.

    Knowing the relationship between Stu and The Great Blando, Stu has developed this great scheme to have the passengers help track down the Great Blando. I think The Great Blando owed him money from a debt incurred whilst practicing “recital-welding” in the nearby Studebaker shop so many years ago. The families of those injured will never forget that fateful day.
