DR. BOLI’S KEYWORD IS DENSER THAN YOURS.

“HELLO WEB ADMIN,” writes a friendly correspondent in a comment on an article from several weeks ago. This correspondent has a bit of advice for Dr. Boli about his “keyword,” and he gets right to the point.

It’s All About the Keyword

“I noticed that your On-Page SEO is not that great, for one you do not use all three H tags in your post, also I notice that you are not using bold or italics properly in your SEO optimization. On-Page SEO means more now than ever since the new Google update: Panda. No longer are backlinks and simply pinging or sending out a RSS feed the key to getting Google PageRank or Alexa Rankings, You now NEED On-Page SEO. So what is good On-Page SEO?

Where Your Keyword Goes

“First your keyword must appear in the title. Then it must appear in the URL. You have to optimize your keyword and make sure that it has a nice keyword density of 3-5% in your article with relevant LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing). Then you should spread all H1,H2,H3 tags in your article.Your Keyword should appear in your first paragraph and in the last sentence of the page. You should have relevant usage of Bold and italics of your keyword. There should be one internal link to a page on your blog and you should have one image with an alt tag that has your keyword….wait there’s even more Now what if i told you there was a simple WordPress plugin that does all the On-Page SEO, and automatically for you? That’s right AUTOMATICALLY, just watch this 4minute video for more information at…”

Here the correspondent gives a Web address, which Dr. Boli will not repeat. He is sure that his correspondent would hate to have his pristine site flooded with grubby traffic from all over the unwashed Internet.

Dr. Boli’s Own Keyword Density

So Dr. Boli has taken his correspondent’s advice. He has used all three header tags. He has made sure the word “keyword” appears frequently, so that people looking for “keyword” in search engines will know that this article is about the “keyword” and will find the “keyword” information they seek. He has made sure, in fact, to say keyword keyword keyword often enough that keyword searchers will have a keyword hard time missing the keyword “keyword.” This keyword article must certainly be SEO as all get out. Here, for your delight, is an image:

Keyword

It is a wooden ceremonial headdress from Benin, given to President Lyndon Johnson, and the alt tag is duly set to “Keyword.”

However, as much as Dr. Boli likes to optimize things in general, there comes a time when he must confess that optimizing everyone else’s search engines is a bit wearisome. So he would like to make an agreement with his readers: You, dear readers, will optimize your own search engines from now on, and in return, just  this once, Dr. Boli will end this last sentence of the article with the keyword.

  1. I for one look forward to the bright shining day when all the SEO marketers and spambots have so optimized their sites that the only way to find them is by searching for “SEO”, and in their vain quests to find new and innovative ways to further optimize their own sites, they search for “SEO”, and are sucked into a veritable vortex of similar spam-advertised sites, a gigantic tail-chasing Luftberry Circle of spambot-written sites that link to each other and only each other in an Ourobouros of Optimized auto-generated ooze.

Until that happy day, we have only the Good Doctor Boli to assuage the annoyances of life and provide one glorious sheltered haven from the tempest-tossed storm of spam that is the rest of the internet.

  2. Will your post be extra-SEO’ey if I use the keyword keyword in my keyword comment?
