Huysman’s famous novel Là-Bas into the Pittsburgh dialect. The translation, under the title Dahnnaire, will be sold in a limited edition of 300 copies bound in vellum and served with French fries and cole slaw between two slices of Italian bread.

  1. Captain DaFt says:

I do love to sink my teeth into a good book. Definitely interested!

  2. Martha says:

The piquancy of the local dialect cannot but add a tang of versimiltude to the quotations from the mediaeval documents of the trial of Giles de Rais – and the presentation of the book with fries and slaw will enable the reader to interact with the text’s descriptions of cookery, to boot!
