  1. Clay Potts says:

Mayor maybe not, there is still time to write-in Dr. Boli as Lord Governor and Poet Laureate of the United Commonwealth Lands of Pittsburgh and Allegheny Cities!

  2. John M says:

“There may not be someone that you want to vote for, but there’s usually someone that you want to vote against…” Archie Goodwin (Nero Wolfe’s assistant)

  3. Hmm. I also saw that last quote as:

“There may not be someone you want to vote for, but there’s always someone worth voting against.” — Robert A. Heinlein, _Take Back Your Government_

Sadly, I was unable to travel to Pittsburgh to serve as an impartial election observer today. So who knows what all shenanigans and hijinks they got up to with the ballot boxes this time.

  4. Jared says:

Speaking of shenanigans, did anyone catch the following advertisement in the Pittsburgh Star-Telegram before the election?

“Electoral adventure wanted, will vote anywhere, do anything — write Box 13, c/o George Parr, Duke of Duval.”
