A few weeks ago, Dr. Boli added the ubiquitous sharing buttons that every other Web site uses everywhere, because it is part of his wicked plot to supplant every other Web site, a process future generations will describe as the Bolification of the Internet.

Well, in fact, he added those buttons because a number of people had pestered him to do it. Sometimes (but not always) taking his readers’ suggestions is part of the Bolification process.

The reaction was mixed; some people hated the buttons, and some people were happy to see them. The proof of the pudding, however, is in the eating thereof; and it is apparent that every day there are readers who are eating the sharing-button pudding.

That the brightly colored buttons were unattractive, however, Dr. Boli cannot dispute. He hopes that the monochrome versions now deployed are less distracting.
