Singer-songwriter Jeremiah Plink was arrested on charges of public intoxication at the Brookline Acoustical Daze street festival yesterday. Mr. Plink reportedly told officers that his song “By the Syc-Syc-Sycamore Tree (In the Hic-Hic-Hickory Wood)” was supposed to sound like that, but officers believed that the song itself was sufficient evidence for an arrest on some charge or other.
