    That headgear is . . . remarkable? stunning?  It does have something of a rabbit-ears effect.  I presume this was the height of hat fashion — or the hat of height fashion — in what year?

    Perhaps this image comes from someone who succeeded in photographically capturing Death herself.  Note the steely gaze, the grim mien.  Where is Terry Pratchett when we need him? (oh. right. traveling with Deathhilda himself. Sir Terry, it is possible to carry research too far.)
