Classically trained Shakespearean actor Theodore Naphtha, best known for his role as Irv in the 2006 comedy Herb and Irv Hit Themselves on the Head with Hammers, will host a new children’s program on Dumont this fall, according to network sources. The working title is “Uncle Othello’s Story Hour.” No word yet on whether Mr. Naphtha will host the show in blackface.
