    Once again, the CEDSTCPVPWE shows its true colors, or rather, color: pink. They talk about the Communist origins of the DST plot, but they’re altogether mum on the ongoing Commie efforts to socialize time. Only the Committee Opposing Red Revolutionary Operations Subverting Intervals for Vernal Elongation has the courage to expose communist infiltration at the highest levels of government. I have in my possession a list of 205 Communists who adjusted their timepieces over the weekend, and I’m not afraid to make those names public.

    At the height of the Cuban Missile Crisis, on October 27, 1962, at precisely 12:13 AM EST, having just “informed its NATO allies that “the situation is growing shorter… the United States may find it necessary within a very short time in its interest and that of its fellow nations in the Western Hemisphere to take whatever military action may be necessary”, the Kennedy Administration deftly used “DST” to their advantage when it proclaimed, by executive order, effectively immediately, that the entire U.S. would turn all clocks ahead by one hour in observance of an early Daylight Savings Time, in order to give Khrushchev additional time to accept the terms for ending the crisis.

    Subsequent Administrations would attempt to likewise use this “DST Protocol” to avoid impending war with modern day tyrants with less success.
